We recently spent a week on Lake Powell on one your 70' houseboats that we boarded out of Antelope Point Marina. The experience was absolutely the best. Everyone was so helpful from the time we booked the trip last year with Robert to the kids in golf carts who helped us get settled into the boat to Jeremy who gave us our orientation and of course JJ who piloted us back to the slip at the end of the week.
This was a family vacation that we all will never forget. There cannot be enough said about the breathe taking beauty of Lake Powell and it just makes it better that we had a boat that was magnificent. Everything worked and it was all and more that they said the boat and trip would be. I would recommend this experience to everyone who loves the beauty of the outdoors and as a matter of fact, we have booked another houseboat trip for Lake Powell for next year.
Thanks to everyone involved who made this a great week for our family.
I just wanted to let you know we had a FABULOUS time on our Lake Powell trip. We had beautiful weather, and the photos we brought home are absolutely awesome!
I wanted to thank you one last time for all of your help during the process of booking our boat and helping to answer our questions throughout these last few months... Thank you!
The rock formations are beautiful. you can see so much more of the land. You are able to hike into spots where we would not normally be able to reach. The golf, volleyball and sand games have been a lot of fun. The kids are finding lots of coves to bring the kayaks into. It's been really nice.
I never take pictures when I'm on the lake as there is no way I could ever capture the awesome beauty of it all.
With its odd rock formations as high as 300 feet above the water surface, and depths plummeting to 200 feet, Lake Powell takes on an unearthly appearance.
I've never seen blue like that, contrasting against cigar-shaped pillars and red rock walls 300 feet above the water's surface.
From our perch the only evidence of the modern world was the boat, a literal speck on the scene. Though the boat seemed insignificant in the overall scope, without it we couldn't have gotten anywhere near this vantage point - like a small spaceship in the vastness of the universe.
